that when you see one, you just know it...

Yo Yo Yo
I was watching this low brow movie the other day it gave me this quote that I am going to run with, "... there are so few truths in this world, that when you see one, you just know it."
You and I were born into a Post-modern age. Yeah it's a hard thing to accept, hell it's a hard thing to rationalize. I mean how do you rationalize a time in life where everyone says "everything is relative" or asks the tough question of "what is truth?"
That is why I fell in love with quote. I think the world and it's thinkers of this day are so right. I mean almost everything is worthy of question and query. We are born after the "age of reason" and "the enlightenment" and by God what a blessing that is.
I cannot solidify in any other else's mind what truth is. Moreover, I can't persuade you to believe that one thing, this one thing or that one thing is true. Actually, I don't want to because how useless would that be. But I do believe, that if and when you or I are so lucky to stumble upon a thing whether it be tangible or not that we align in our ephemeral thoughts as actual truth, we have to so dearly hold on to it.
Isn't that what we dearly hope of heaven to be. I mean for us, for our generation and our country bearing the people group of Americans, streets of gold and pearly gates are not so appealing as simple inexorable truth. But for a place to be where you can find Beauty to be irreplacable, a place where justice is available to all without fear, and place where relationships between beings is totally complete, this is the heaven I envision. A place for truth to exist without question.
Be Relentless,
Peace
